Focus and Scope

International Journal of Progressive Sciences and Technologies (IJPSAT, ISSN:2509-0119) is an open access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary, and online journal. IJPSAT aims to contribute to the constant scientific research and training, so as to promote research in different fields of basic and applied sciences. 

The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence in all the fields of basic and applied sciences. Submitted articles must not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication any place else and should report original unpublished research results. All research articles, review articles, short communications and technical notes are pre-reviewed by the editor, and if appropriate, sent for blind peer review.

The manuscript number will be mailed to corresponding author within 24 hours after submission. The reviewing process will be completed within one week. The manuscripts will be published online 2 days after acceptance and payment and will be indexed at major academic databases. The publication fees are 30$.

Peer Review Process

All research articles, review articles, short communications and technical notes are pre-reviewed by the editor, and if appropriate, sent for blind peer review. The editor mays ask the opinion of other referees who are experts in the relevant field of research and a minimum of two reviews related to subject are required.


The review process is consisting with the following steps:

  1. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the authors within 48H after receiving the manuscript.
  2. Primary quality will be checked by the Editor.
  3. Manuscripts will be checked by Plagiarism checker software.
  4. The manuscript will be sent for double blinded review.
  5. Based on the double blinded review editor will take decision and the decision will be communicated to the author.

 

Publication Frequency

This journal is published 12 times per year.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Criteria for Manuscript Evaluation and Publication

The journal is committed to maintaining a transparent, fair, and rigorous editorial process. Manuscripts are evaluated according to clearly defined scientific and editorial criteria before a final publication decision is made.

Articles may be considered for publication when they:

  • Fall within the scope and scientific fields covered by the journal.

  • Present original and previously unpublished research.

  • Demonstrate scientific relevance, novelty, and a clear contribution to the field.

  • Use appropriate and clearly described research methods.

  • Present results and conclusions that are supported by the data and analysis.

  • Follow recognized ethical standards for scientific research and publication.

  • Provide appropriate references and proper attribution of previously published work.

  • Are written in a clear, coherent, and academically appropriate manner.

  • Comply with the journal's formatting and submission requirements.

  • Successfully complete the editorial assessment and peer-review process.

A manuscript may be rejected when it:

  • Falls outside the scope of the journal.

  • Lacks sufficient originality, scientific significance, or methodological rigor.

  • Contains major methodological or analytical weaknesses.

  • Presents conclusions that are not adequately supported by the results.

  • Contains plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or manipulated data, or other forms of research misconduct.

  • Has previously been published or is simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

  • Fails to meet applicable ethical requirements.

  • Contains serious deficiencies in structure, clarity, references, or scientific presentation that prevent reliable evaluation.

  • Does not satisfactorily address substantial comments raised during peer review or editorial revision.

Final decisions regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection are based on the scientific quality of the manuscript, the reviewers' assessments, compliance with publication ethics, and the judgment of the editorial board. Decisions are made independently of the authors' nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, political views, or other personal characteristics.

The journal’s policies are aligned, where applicable, with widely accepted international principles and best practices concerning:
